Dependant of Caymanian
This guidance should be read carefully before making an application to reside in the Cayman Islands as the dependant of a Caymanian.
Eligibility
The Immigration Law (2007 Revision) allows for the dependant of a Caymanian to be granted permission to reside in the Cayman Islands for a period of up to three years. This period may be extended for further periods not exceeding three years on each occasion.
'Dependent' in this context means the parent, grandparent, brother or sister of a Caymanian.
The dependant must be wholly or substantially dependent upon the Caymanian.
