Residency & Employment Rights - Affidavit

Use this form:

When you are married to a Caymanian and wish to apply to the Chief Immigration Officer or the Caymanian Status & Permanent Residency Board for the right to reside and work in the Cayman Islands.

Use this form for either an interim or full Residency & Employment Rights Certificate.

Submission requirements:

In submitting this form you should enclose the following (where applicable):

  • Two Application Forms
  • Cover Letter
  • Application Fee
  • Proof that your spouse is Caymanian
  • Proof of Identity
  • Medical Questionnaire
  • Police Clearance Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate/Divorce Decree/Death Certificate
  • Affidavit
  • Birth Certificates
  • Paternity Test
  • Evidence of Financial Resources
  • Dependant Details/Information:
    • Children under the age of eighteen that you and your spouse are supporting financially:
      • Full name
      • Certified copy of birth certificate
      • Name of school where the child attends
      • Name and full contact details of the child's other parent
      • Address where the child resides
      • Financial details concerning maintenance
      • Details concerning visitation arrangements (if any)
      • Copy of Court Orders (if any) concerning child support, visitation and custody arrangements
    • Breakdown of your monthly expenses, i.e. rent/mortgage, utilities, water, bank loans, telephone, school fees
  • Photographs
  • References
