Applying for a U.S. Non-Immigrant Visa

To apply for a new visa, the following items are required:
- https://ceac.state.gov/genniv - A printed confirmation page of the completed electronic application form DS-160. This form must be completed and submitted online;
- https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ - After completing and submitting the US Visa application online, proceed to create an account in order to choose a courier pick up location (this is only done as a means of being able to complete the process correctly online, therefore choose the DHL Kingston Location), make payment for the US Visa application by Debit/Credit Card in the amount of US$160.00 and to print the "Courier In Authorization Certificate";
- Valid BOTC-Cayman Islands passport that will not expire within the next six months. There should be sufficient blank pages available in the passport to affix a visa, should a visa be granted. Each applicant must possess their own passport. (no visas will be issued to children who are added to parent’s passport)
- Expired or other Passport (if held a U.S. visa before);
- 1 full face photograph (white or off-white background);
- A recent Police Clearance Certificate for ANY applicant sixteen years of age or older;
- Any additional documents that may demonstrate the applicant’s social and economic ties outside the United States, OR that otherwise help to support or clarify the application.
- Original Birth Certificate
- Copy of parent's valid passport data page and valid US Visa (if applicant is a child) - If parent's passport is not a BOTC-Cayman Islands passport, please provide a copy of parent's Caymanian Status Letter/Certificate OR their BOTC Naturalization Certificate
- Proof that payment for Visa application was successful
- Courier In Authorization Certificate
Personal Interview
A personal interview at the United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica will be required, but is not limited to, the following applicants:
- If you are 14 to 79 years of age and applying for a US Visitor’s visa for the FIRST TIME or RENEWAL
- Applicants 80 years old and older applying for a US Visitor’s Visa for the first time
- You MUST schedule an appointment time for your interview. Appointments can be made after you have created an account at the following website: https://ais.usvisa-info.com.
- Applicants who have made an appointment but has a genuine emergency should now send a request via email to: kingstonnivemergency@state.gov or contact 1-876-702-6000
The Passport & Corporate Services Office forwards (BOTC-Cayman Islands Passports & British Citizen Passports ONLY) applications weekly to the U.S. Embassy for a non-refundable fee of: CI$50.00 cash (Per Applicant).
