Migrants Return Home

The 18 remaining Cuban migrants at the Immigration Detention Centre were repatriated today without incident, Immigration Department officials report.

Earlier this month, 15 migrants were repatriated. With today’s departure, the IDC will officially close tomorrow (Thursday, 28 August).
