Chief Immigration Officer
Linda M. Evans was appointed Chief Immigration Officer in September 2009 having previously held the role of Deputy Chief Officer in the Portfolio of Internal & External Affairs, a post she held for two years. Ms Evans worked in the private sector as a human resources manager prior to joining government. Ms Evans has an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami with double majors in Finance and Economics.
Ms Evans is responsible for the overall management and performance of the Department of Immigration, as well as the Visa and Passport and Corporate Services divisions.

Samantha Bennett was appointed Deputy Chief Immigration Officer (Administration) in April 2010, having served four years prior as Chief Human Resources Manager with the Ministry of Finance, Tourism and Development. read more

Bruce D. Smith joined the Immigration Department after spending 20 years with HM Customs where the attained the rank of Assistant Collector and is responsible for all border control matters including airport, seaports operations and visas.read more

Director of Boards & Work Permits
Kimberley Davis joined the Department of Immigration in March 2012. As the Director of Boards and Work Permits, she manages over 40 staff members, collaborating with the respective chairpersons to enhance the productivity of the Work Permit Board, the Business Staffing Plan Board and the Caymanian Status and Permanent Residency Board. read more
