Chief Immigration Officer
Linda M. Evans was appointed Chief Immigration Officer in September 2009 having previously held the role of Deputy Chief Officer in the Portfolio of Internal & External Affairs, a post she held for two years. Ms Evans worked in the private sector as a human resources manager prior to joining government. Ms Evans has an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelorís Degree from the University of Miami with double majors in Finance and Economics.
Ms Evans is responsible for the overall management and performance of the Department of Immigration, as well as the Visa and Passport and Corporate Services divisions.
